Breakfast Egg Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage or bacon
    7 to 8 slices Pepperidge Farm bread, crusts removed
    1 block Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. milk
    1 c. regular cream
    8 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown meat; drain.
    Butter both sides of bread; use to line a 10 x 15-inch baking dish.
    Top with cheese.
    Beat eggs; add milk and cream.
    Mix well; pour over bread and cheese.
    Sprinkle with 3/4 teaspoon salt and a little pepper. Top with meat.
    Thyme or parsley may be sprinkled over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 8.
