Peanut Pattie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1 c. water
    3 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    15 to 20 drops red food coloring
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups sugar, 1 cup syrup and 1 cup water in large saucepan.
    Bring to boil; add peanuts and food coloring.
    Boil to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla, salt and butter. Stir until thick; spread out onto buttered tin foil.
