Bite Size Herb Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 vegetable and cheese filling
    1 cream cheese filling or your choice of filling in dairy case of your store
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar and cream of tartar. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Make a well in center.
    Add milk, onions and parsley.
    Stir until dough clings together.
    On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently 10 to 12 times.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut dough with 1 1/2-inch cutter.
    Cook on ungreased pan at 450\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes. Half biscuits, then split halves.
    Put filling in biscuits.
    Makes 24 to 28 appetizers.
