Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, finely chopped
    1/4 c. mild light flavored olive oil
    1 c. raw long grain rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in olive oil over medium heat in skillet until tender.
    Add rice, stirring, until it turns a whitish gold, about 3 or 5 minutes.
    Add chicken broth, tomato sauce, cumin, pepper and salt.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until rice is done.
