Miss Evie'S Conch Souse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 conch
    1 large onion or 2 small, cut up
    4 stalks celery, slice to 1/2 inch
    2 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
    1/4 cabbage, cut into bite size
    garlic
    salt
    accent
    lime
    hot pepper
Preparation
    Pound conch until tender.
    Soak in lime juice.\tCut into pieces.
    Put vegetables and salt into pot with enough water to cover generously.
    Simmer until nearly done.
    Add spices (to taste) and conch;
    cook until all is tender.
    Serve with Johnny Cake or fresh, hot Bahamian bread.
