Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. thick unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 c. shortenings
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. bread flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation
    Heat applesauce.
    Add shortening, sugar and raisins.
    When cool, add spices, flour and baking soda; mix, then add chopped nuts.
    Turn into greased pan and bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on depth of cake.
    Cover with buttercream frosting.
