Pickle-Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 large green peppers
    3 large red sweet peppers
    3 white onions
    15 to 20 small cukes
    1 gal. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    4 c. white sugar
    3 saccharin tablets
    1/4 c. mustard seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. alum
Preparation
    Grind together the peppers, onions and cukes.
    Let drain overnight.
    Heat the remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool, then mix with relish.
    Put in jars; leave in refrigerator for 3 to 4 days, then put into freezer.
