Angel Fancy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    2 Tbsp. water
    3 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. heavy or whipping cream, whipped or 2 c. Cool Whip
    1 small angel cake, broken in pieces
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in water.
    Blend in beaten yolks.
    Cook and stir a few seconds; add vanilla and salt.
    Cool.
    Fold sugar into whipped cream and fold this into chocolate mixture.
    Fold in beaten egg whites last.
    Pour over angel cake pieces in large bowl or 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill overnight.
    Serve with dollops of whipped cream, if desired.
