Scalloped Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large Irish potatoes
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. shredded cheese
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. onion salt
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 block butter
    1/2 c. bacon bits (optional)
Preparation
    Peel potatoes.
    Wash and dice or cut in rings.
    Put in pot with water; cook until done.
    Pour excess water off.
    Add butter, onion salt and garlic salt.
    Blend with mixture or with fork.
    Put pot on low heat; add cheese and sour cream.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Let simmer for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
