Cheese And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust (top and bottom)
    6 large onions
    1 extra sharp Cracker Barrel cheese
    pepper
Preparation
    Peel and quarter onions.
    Boil 45 to 60 minutes.
    Drain thoroughly and return to pot.
    Pepper lightly.
    Add sliced cheese and mix until cheese is melted.
    Pour mixture into pie shell. Cover with top.
    Flute well and pierce with fork.
    Bake until crust is golden brown.
    Set stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Excellent main course.
    Serve with Caesar salad.
