Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    15 oz. can tomato sauce
    6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    4 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
    8 oz. part-skim Mozzarella cheese, grated
    1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
Preparation
    In a large skillet brown meat and remove from skillet with slotted spoon.
    Pour off fat, reserving 1 teaspoon in skillet. Add onion and garlic, saute 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently until softened.
    Add tomato sauce and paste, along with salt, pepper and oregano.
    Mix in the hamburger and simmer mixture for 15 minutes.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place 3 noodles in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top with about a third of each of the following:
    sauce, Mozzarella and cottage cheese.
    Spread again with sauce, Mozzarella and cottage cheese.
    Top this with 3 noodles and complete with remaining third of the sauce and cheeses.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
    Serves 8.
