Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. shortening, softened
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 egg, beaten
Preparation
-
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Rub in soft shortening. Mix beaten egg and milk; stir into dry ingredients.
Drop into hot broth by tablespoon.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
