Brenda'S Favorite Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water (110~)
    1/4 c. lukewarm milk, scalded and cooled
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. soft butter
    3 1/4 to 3 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Stir in milk, sugar, salt, egg, butter and 2 cups flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Mix in enough of the remaining flour so dough is easy to handle.
    Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
    Place in greased bowl; turn over.
    Cover; let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours in a warm place.
    Punch down; shape into rolls.
    Place in greased pans. Let rise 20 minutes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes, until nicely browned.
