Rhubarb Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O gelatin
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb and sugar.
    Keep stirring as it tends to burn easily.
    Cook about 15 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat.
    Add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    This may be frozen or refrigerated.
    Very good on your morning toast.
