Polish Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (8 oz.) mushrooms, drained
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 qt. sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
    2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    salt and pepper
    2 lb. smoked sausage, chopped
Preparation
    Cook mushrooms, onions and peppers in butter.
    In crock-pot, cook sausage until heated.
    Add vegetables, kraut, tomatoes and salt and pepper.
    Cook in crock-pot on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 5 to 6 hours.
