Chicken Rice Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cans chicken broth
3 large cans whole tomatoes
5 chicken breasts (skinless)
1/2 c. chopped cilantro
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. cut up carrots
1 small chopped onion
1 Tbsp. garlic salt
1 can green chiles, cut up
1/2 bottle green chile jalapeno salsa
1/2 uncooked long grain rice
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation

Boil chicken in water in a large pot.
Save chicken broth. Drain fat.
Add cut up pieces of cooked chicken to large pot with cans of chicken broth.
Add tomatoes, cilantro, celery, carrots and onion.
Add garlic salt; stir.
Add green chiles and green chile jalapeno salsa.
Cover; let it simmer until vegetables are cooked.
Add 1/2 cup rice.
When rice is cooked, add shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
