Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. thin steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips
1 large onion, chopped
1 can tomato sauce (16 oz.)
1 can mushrooms
1 can or cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Brown steak in oil, then add onion.
Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, water, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Add small amount of sauce to 1 cup of sour cream; blend well, then add to meat and sauce.
May be thickened with a little Wondra flour.
Serve over noodles or rice.
