Caramelitas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. softened margarine
6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

Melt together caramels and evaporated milk; set aside. Combine cake mix and margarine. Press 1/2 cake mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Spread caramel mixture over this. Spread remaining batter over top of caramel layer, spreading evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool slightly. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
