Meringue Hearts With Strawberry Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 gal. strawberry ice cream
Preparation
    Place egg whites in small, deep bowl of electric mixer.
    Add salt, vinegar and vanilla to whites.
    Beat on high speed until peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar until whites are very stiff. Make 6 mounds of egg white on a cookie sheet covered with brown paper.
    With the back of a teaspoon, form each mound into a heart shell.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Remove from paper immediately.
    Cool.
    Fill meringue hearts with scoop of ice cream.
