Brown Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
2 c. boiling water
2 c. graham flour (whole wheat)
1/4 c. molasses
2 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
Add a teaspoon of sugar. Combine shortening, boiling water, sugar, salt and graham flour. Stir until shortening is melted.
Let stand until lukewarm.
Add yeast mixture, molasses and eggs.
Add white flour as needed (about 6 to 7 cups) to make firm elastic dough.
Let rise until double.
Knead down and let rise again.
Shape into rolls.
Let rise.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
