Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    oleo
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar or Longhorn cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk (part half and half is good)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread.
    Spread oleo on each slice.
    Place in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook sausage, crumble and drain. Spread on top of bread.
    Top this with cheese.
    Combine beaten eggs, milk and salt.
    Pour over cheese.
    Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
    Makes 8 servings.
