Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1 c. milk chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed on package.
    Pour half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter, Pet milk and caramels.
    Pour over cake while hot, then sprinkle chips and nuts over that.
    Pour the remaining cake batter on top.
    Bake 20 minutes more at 350\u00b0.
