Orange Velvet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 qt. orange sherbet (room temperature)
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping (also at room temperature)
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir until completely dissolved.
Chill in mixing bowl until syrupy, like egg whites. Whip with beater until gelatin is foamy and light and no clear gelatin showing.
Add sherbet and whipped topping; fold together until smoothly blended.
Chill for 1 to 2 hours, until set.
Easy and fast.
Can be poured into an elegant bowl before chilling for best presentation.
