Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 box German chocolate cake mix (dry)
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    On top of stove over low heat, combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk; stir until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    While caramels are melting, combine cake mix, butter and remaining 1/3 cup of evaporated milk; mix well.
    Add pecans.
    Pour half of mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate pieces on top. Pour melted caramels over chocolate pieces.
    Spoon remaining cake mixture over caramels.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
