Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. water
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    pinch of cream of tartar
    flavoring and color
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water for hard ball stage.
    Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Very slowly add syrup mixture to egg white and 1 teaspoon flavoring and color. Beat until it holds shape.
    Put on waxed paper by spoonfuls.
