Linguine With Broccoli And Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. broccoli flowerets
    12 oz. fresh linguine
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    1 lb. sea scallops
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Blanch broccoli in boiling salted water.
    Refresh with cold water and set aside.
    Cook linguine in unsalted water.
    Drain and toss with 1/4 cup butter.
    Set aside.
    Heat remaining 1/2 cup butter in skillet and saute garlic.
    Add scallops, salt and pepper.
    Saute 3 minutes or until scallops are opaque.
    Add broccoli and heat one minute.
    Add pasta and heat through.
    Add cheese and serve.
