Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. (1 stick or 1/2 c.) butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 2/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease some cookie sheets.
    Combine the butter and 3/4 cup sugar; beat until thoroughly blended.
    Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.
    Stir together the flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; add to the first mixture, mixing until thoroughly blended.
    Roll pieces of the dough between the palms of your hands into 1 inch balls.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon.
    Roll each ball in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
