Mother'S Steam Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. milk
    2 c. raisins
    2/3 c. butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice, ground
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
    Add to creamed butter and molasses.
    Add flour mixture and milk gradually and mix well.
    Line a pan (Bundt will do) with cheesecloth.
    Then add pudding mixture and put the pan into another larger pan which has water in it.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 4 hours to steam the pudding.
