French Bread Chips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) loaf French bread
    1 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0.
    Using an electric knife, slice bread into very thin (1/8-inch thick) slices about 1-inch wide and 2 1/2 inches long.
    Place slices in a large mixing bowl.
    In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour butter mixture over slices; toss well to combine.
    Spread on lightly greased baking sheets.
    Stirring occasionally, bake 40 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
    Yields about 9 cups of chips.
