1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/4 c. \"grade B\" Vermont maple syrup
3 Tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. shelled walnuts
unbaked pie shell
Preparation

In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, maple syrup and butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Pour mixture into prepared unbaked pie shell.
Place walnuts evenly on top, covering entire surface.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
