Godfather Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato or pizza sauce
    3/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 thin slices boiled ham
    1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    3 slices Mozzarella cheese, halved diagonally
Preparation
    Combine eggs, tomato sauce, bread crumbs, garlic, salt and pepper with ground beef and mix well.
    On waxed paper, flatten meat into rectangle.
    Arrange ham on top of meat, leaving a 1-inch margin around edges.
    Sprinkle shredded cheese over ham.
    Carefully roll up meat, using paper to lift.
    Seal edges and ends well. Place roll, seam side down, in dish.
    Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes, then put cheese on top and cook 15 more minutes.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Slice.
    This is very good served with tossed lettuce and tomato salad and baked potatoes.
