Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
2/3 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. oil
3/4 c. milk
1 large onion, minced

Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Drop by teaspoon into hot oil until browned.
Drain on paper towels.
