Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raw shrimp
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    16 oz. can tomatoes
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    rice
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Shell shrimp.
    Cook onion, celery and garlic in salad oil until tender, but not brown.
    Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, sugar, chili powder and hot pepper sauce.
    Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water; stir into sauce.
    Cook, stirring until bubbly. Add peeled shrimp and green pepper.
    Cover.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
    Serves 6.
