Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. margarine
1 c .buttermilk
1 c. Angel Flake coconut
3 tsp. coconut extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine; add eggs one at a time.
Mix well after each egg.
Add flavoring.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk; fold in nuts and coconut.
Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
Pour syrup (recipe follows) over cake in pan when removed from oven.
