Graham Apple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    4 c. sliced apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    2 1/2 c. crushed graham crackers
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Melt butter in 8 x 8-inch baking pan. Place apples in melted butter.
    Sprinkle sugar, salt, cinnamon and nuts over apples.
    Combine cracker crumbs and brown sugar and moisten with milk.
    Spread mixture over apples.
    Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
