Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 small can coconut
1 c. buttermilk
5 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and shortening.
Add sugar and beat until smooth. Beat in egg yolks.
Alternate flour and milk.
Stir in vanilla, coconut and nuts.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in three layers for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
