Stewed Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and coarsely chopped
1/3 c. sugar
2 slices white bread, toasted and crumbled
2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Place the tomatoes, butter and sugar in a saucepan and heat until the margarine melts.
Add bread crumbs and continue simmering until most of liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Turn the mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart round casserole and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until thick and bubbly, about 20 to 30 minutes.
Yields 6 servings.
