Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pared, sliced apples (medium)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
Preparation
    Place apples in greased 8-inch square pan or 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Combine flour, brown sugar and butter.
    Spread mixture over sugared apples.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until fruit is tender and top is golden brown.
    Serve warm with cream or ice cream, if desired.
    Serves 6 to 8.
