Mom'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 c. celery
    3/4 c. onions
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    3/4 tsp. thyme
    3/4 tsp. oregano
    3/4 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (15 oz.) black beans, drained
    1 can red chili beans
    1 can pinto beans
    2 cans Great Northern beans
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 can ripe olives
    1 can chopped chilies
    2 (16 oz.) tomato paste
    3 (14 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
Preparation
    Simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    If too thick, add some water or more chicken broth.
    Can also add small pieces of ham.
    Add cornstarch just before removing from heat.
