Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. tomato juice
    1 qt. water
    1 onion, fried in 1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large kettle, pour tomato juice and water.
    When boiling, add balls of the remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for three hours. Can also be cooked in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for about 2 hours. Makes 20 large meat balls.
