Potato Salad(German Kartoffel-Salat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 very large potatoes
    2 medium onions, peeled and chopped
    3 Tbsp. fresh dill
    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    dash of pepper
    3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; peel
    and
    slice
    medium thick.\tCombine with onion, dill, and
    parsley.\tSeason\twith salt and pepper. Add cut up eggs
    (optional).
    Heat\toil,
    vinegar
    and
    sugar. Pour over potato mixture.
    Add
    garnish of cucumber slices and pickled herring if desired.
