Beef Rolls In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    2 Tbsp. diced onion
    2 lb. thinly sliced round steak, cut into 8 pieces
    8 slices bacon
    2 cans unrefrigerated beer
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 (8 oz.) mushrooms (stems and pieces)
Preparation
    In bowl, combine sausage, onion and crumbs.
    Shape into 8 cylinders.
    Salt and pepper steak.
    Place each cylinder on slice of steak.
    Roll up to enclose filling.
    Wrap each roll in bacon; secure with toothpicks.
    Brown over low heat.
    Slowly add beer and 4 or 5 beef bouillon cubes.
    Simmer 2 hours.
    Add mushrooms and juice any time.
    Thicken gravy.
    Delicious for company meal.
