Cream Puffs And Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. butter, oleo or cooking oil
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, unbeaten
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Bring water, butter and salt to boil.
Add flour all at once, then beat over low heat until mixture leaves side of pan and forms compact ball.
Remove from heat; continue beating to cool mixture (2 minutes).
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat until mixture has satin-like sheen.
Onto greased baking sheet, drop 5 or 6 mounds about 2 inches apart.
Bake until well browned and puffy, about 50 minutes.
Remove from oven; immediately cut 1 or 2 slits in each side of puff; return to oven for 10 minutes.
Cool.
