Microwave Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    vanilla ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Place butter in small bowl.
    Microwave, uncovered, at High for 1 minute.
    Stir in oats and brown sugar; microwave, uncovered, at High for 2 minutes.
    Stir in flour and cinnamon.
    Place pie filling in 1-quart casserole.
    Stir in almond extract.
    Sprinkle crumb mixture over filling.
    Microwave, uncovered, at High for 5 minutes.
    Spoon into dessert dishes and top with vanilla ice cream.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
