Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen (small) English peas, cooked according to directions and drained
    2 cans undiluted cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. sugar
    dash of black pepper
    3 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1 pkg. slivered almonds, toasted in stick of butter
Preparation
    Mix in this order:
    peas, soup, sugar, pepper, pimento and almonds.
    Heat from the peas will be enough to warm the other ingredients.
    Mix well and serve.
    Serves 12.
