Super Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. lasagna
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 tsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    12 oz. tomato paste
    2 c. tomato sauce (mushroom)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. crushed sweet basil
    1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cottage cheese
    1 egg, well beaten
    16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook lasagna according to package instructions.
    Drain.
    Brown beef in large skillet in oil with onions and garlic.
    Add tomato paste and sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, oregano, bay leaf, basil, parsley, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and 1/2 cup of water; simmer for 1 hour.
    Combine cottage cheese, egg, remaining salt and remaining pepper.
    Grate Mozzarella cheese.
    Arrange layers of noodles, cottage cheese mixture, beef mixture and cheese in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, ending with cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven; let set for 15 minutes before serving. This recipe will serve 7 people.
