Grandma Irene'S Summer Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. low grade hamburger
5 heaping tsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
1 tsp. hickory smoked salt
2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. whole peppercorns
Preparation
-
Combine all ingredients.
Mix once a day for 3 days. On the 4th day, pack tight into rolls.
Bake on a rack at 140\u00b0 for 10 to 12 hours.
Do not make substitutions.
Can be frozen.
