Creole Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 loin pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. flour
salt to taste
1 c. celery, cut 1/2 inch
1 c. cut green pepper
1 c. sliced onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sugar
dash of hot sauce
1 lb. can tomatoes, drained
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Wipe pork chops with a damp paper towel.
Trim excess fat. In a large skillet, heat butter.
Mix flour and salt.
Coat pork chops on both sides; brown.
Remove from skillet.
Add garlic, onion, green pepper, celery, thyme, sugar and hot sauce.
Saute for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes.
Bring to boiling and return the chops to the skillet.
Spoon sauce over chops and simmer, covered, 40 to 50 minutes until tender.
Serve with rice.
Makes 6 servings.
