"Fabulous" Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sliced beets, cut in julienne strips
    1 (18 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 or 4 red apples, chopped (skin on)
    3 or 4 dill pickles, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Drain beets.
    Mix all ingredients together in order given. (You can use all sour cream and no mayonnaise, if preferred.) Salad is better if made day before so all flavors can blend. Yield: 8 to 12 servings.
