Pork Chop Pear Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork loin chops, cut 3/4-inch thick
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (14 oz.) jar spiced pear halves
    ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Trim fat from chops.
    Coat chops with mixture of the flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt and a dash of pepper.
    Brown chops on both sides in hot oil.
    Place chops in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Drain pears.
    Reserve 1/2 cup syrup.
    Set pears aside.
    Pour syrup over meat.
    Cover; place in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Add pears; sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Cook until heated through, 10 to 15 minutes more.
    Serves 6.
